LeBow International Business Consulting

Program Overview

The international consulting residency course at Drexel LeBow offers students a unique combination of real-world consulting and international travel. In this class, students act as consultants to an international organization and experience international business firsthand.

Undergraduate students are invited to participate in a 10-week business consulting course, MGMT 380, and an accompanying one-week international residency to Austria and Lithuania. During the on-campus course, students will explore business problem solving through project-based learning – conducting research and analyses to provide recommendations for a partner company abroad. The course will work with AUGA, one of the largest organic food producers in Europe. Projects may focus on finance, marketing, sustainability, or other areas. Working in teams, students will connect with AUGA virtually throughout the course, then present their work to the company in person while abroad.

10 weeks of the course take place on campus, with student-client interaction facilitated virtually. During the final week of the course, students travel abroad on an international residency to present their final recommendations to the client in person. During the one-week international residency, students also participate in company visits and cultural experiences.

At the end of the term, students will travel to Vilnius, Lithuania & Vienna, Austria to deliver final presentations and to learn more about business in this region. Learn more about previous international consulting residencies here from the Dornsife Office for Experiential Learning.
