Program Description:
As part of their program, LeBow students are expected to study the international dimensions of business decisions by visiting foreign countries and developing a better understanding of the economic and business environment in these countries and the opportunities and challenges facing firms operating there.  Our international residency program has been in existence for more than 10 years and we have visited numerous countries in Europe, Asia and South America.

Prior to the visit, students study various aspects of the company and industry within which the firm operates.  Of particular interest are companies/industries that are important to the region or who are experiencing new challenges or opportunities.

While on the residency, students visit cultural sites and companies. Company visits include domestic and international operations.  During most visits our students are briefed by a senior team in a short presentation outlining current challenges and the management philosophy.  When appropriate, students also tour the company facilities.

International residencies are an excellent opportunity to experience new cultures and industries. It is also an opportune time to network with companies and industry leaders. The international residency should be treated as a business trip. All scheduled company and cultural visits are mandatory and factored into your course grade.
