This experience will provide students and faculty the opportunity to study aboard and deliver primary care services with a global health focus in conjunction with Explorers Sans Frontières (ESF), a Philadelphia based non-profit organization that has supported humanitarian projects both locally and abroad through sustainable programs in Senegal, Haiti, and Jamaica.

An interdisciplinary cohort of both Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant students, accompanied by their Track Director or designee, will travel to Haiti with ESF to engage in global health clinical experience. During this experience, students will be serving as healthcare providers for underserved communities in and around Port-au-Prince, including tent cities of displaced survivors of the 2010 earthquake.
